Before co-founding TraderTools in 1997, Mr. Heidingsfeld established and operated a private equity hedge fund, specializing in foreign exchange, interest rate and index option trading. Aside from actively trading in foreign exchange and options markets, he gained extensive software experience from design to implementation. Prior to that, he was a trader at Oscar Gruss and Son Inc. and an investment counselor for that firm in Tel Aviv, and held positions at the head office of Israel Discount Bank in Tel Aviv and at Standard & Poor’s in New York. He holds a BA in Business Administration and International Finance from the Bernard M. Baruch College of Business of the City University of New York.
Before joining TraderTools in 2012 Santo was CFO of AirVersent, Inc., and co-founded Emergent Communications, Inc., both SaaS companies. Santo is also a co-Founder, and President of LearningSpan, Inc. a SaaS e-learning provider. Santo began his career with KPMG in its New York office. Thereafter, he held financial positions of increasing responsibility with a publicly traded chemical manufacturer and was the CFO of a publicly traded wireless communications company. He also served as CFO of SIP Communications, Inc. a VoIP spin-out company from Columbia University’s Science and Technology Ventures unit. Santo is a 1982 graduate of the University of Scranton, in Scranton PA.
Roi Illouz joined TraderTools as Chief Technology Officer in 2021 and leads the TraderTools research and development team. After working in the defense sector, Roi was a tech lead for the Waves Audio world renowned SoundGrid system. Roi brings extensive expertise in RT, RT networking and the Linux operating system.

After joining TraderTools in 2004 as a developer, Gil has held positions as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, Senior Team Lead and his current position, VP of R&D. During his climb he has led multiple teams making overall performance improvements and integrating new LP connectors technology. Additionally, he has led the building of our monitoring and order flow system over elasticsearch technology and the build out of our new technology framework. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.
